FHFC Lawn Bowls Day

Our first official social event of Season 2012 is one for the entire family! We are holding a social Lawn Bowls day on Sunday the 26th of February, kicking off at 3:00pm.

The day will be held at the recently renovated Ascot Park Bowling Club (1 Davidson Ave, Parkholme - Corner of Marion and Oaklands Road), there will be lots of prizes on offer throughout the day as well as a tastey BBQ for dinner at around 6:00pm.

It is important that we know how many people are planning on attending, so please get in contact with David Kearsley or Paul McGuire to confirm your interest, ideally organise yourself into a team of 4 and email these 4 names to David or Paul.

For more information please view this flyer or email us.

FHFC Club Song - Voting (UPDATE)

The responses we received from the original poll suggested that most people are open to changing the song slightly to give it a Flagstaff Hill flavour. Obviously there are a 1001 variations possible so after much to-ing and fro-ing between committee, players and coaches we have settled on a version which is now up for vote.

The vote is simple…
“Yes”… you want to go with the new words
“No”…you want to stay with same words

The tune is exactly the same and the words fit into the tune perfectly!

Please follow this link to submit your vote. Please note that only 1 vote per IP Address will be accepted.

If you encounter any issues with the voting process please email us.

FHFC Club Survey

*** Survey has been extended until C.O.B Monday 17th of October ***

Two years ago the Club conducted a survey focusing on the Senior side of the Club. It was very helpful in identifying areas we needed to improve and has played an important part in the significantly better results we saw this year. We intend doing this survey every 2 years. The focus of this year’s survey has widened to include U14's through to Seniors so we get a bigger snapshot of the Club.

The Club Survey has now gone live and can be accessed here. It is open right now and will only be kept open until the 17th of October. It only takes about 10 minutes to complete. Anyone from any area of the Club who has an opinion or point of view they want to share is welcome to do the survey. The more people the better.

Under 16's Premiers!

Flagstaff Hill have gone back to back in the Under 16's with a comfortable win against Cove in the SFL Under 16's Grand Final. Campbell Wright was on fire up forward with 7 goals while Captain Brad Draper and Brett Turner were also outstanding.
